History
Summit
Driving School was founded in 1959, and is headquartered in Arbutus,
Maryland (near Baltimore and Catonsville). The school specializes
in teaching Driver's Education in area high schools. It has the
distinction of being directed by managers and owners that have been
involved with the school since the beginning.
Classroom
and on-road activities focus on avoiding car crashes. Summit
extends this commitment to new driver safety by developing customized
road/intersection safety maps for each high school. These maps
illustrate exactly which roads pose the greatest danger, and what crash
types are likley to happen on them.
The
school has grown to handle nearly 20 public and private high school
classrooms. Classes are available year-round with locations in
Baltimore City, Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Harford, Howard and Frederick
Counties. Today, the school is committed to serving these high
school accounts. In fact, it is the only area driving school with
a dedicated representative for each individual high school.
